The monster in your closet

The item I have for the longhest time is this red rain coat.
I bought it in France in 2015 and I still wear it a lot.
I especially really like the color.

The item I wear the least are these high Dr. Martens boots.
I actually really like them but they are kind of out of my comfort zone to wear outside.
I always plan to wear them and then never do.

An interview with a fake plant

1 first of all, do you like being a fake plant?

Well it’s fine, I don’t really know any better.
And I can just sunbathe everyday so that’s nice, I don’t really like having responsibilities or working.


2 Do you like how you look?

Ofcourse! I’ve got nice leaves and they always look neat and don’t wither like other plants.
But I wouldn’t mind getting some stuff done, to look even more beautiful.


3 What is your opinion on real plants

Well, I’m just happy to be a fake plant.
I see them come and go, and they tend to be dramatic about watering and the sun.
Although I would like to know what it feels like to be watered, they seem to enjoy that a lot.


4 Do you ever feel jealous of real plants?

No not at all, I always look beautiful and happy.
They get those nasty brown leaves and eventually die.
I’m always pretty and strong!


5 There is another fake plant next to you, what do you think of them?

That’s Suzie, she’s kind of shy so we don’t talk a lot.
We had a fight yesterday, she said I talk too much..


6 You sit in a window, do you like sitting there?

Yeah, it’s the best place in the room.
It is much better than on the shelf where Alberta is sitting…


7 And what do you like the most of sitting in the window?

Of course the sunbathing but I mostly love looking at the people walking through the street.
Just watching what they are doing and what they are wearing.
I am a people plant ,I like people!


8 Do you feel lonely sometimes?

To be honest… yes.
Suzie and the other plants are boring and I would love to talk to other people.
Getting to know them and doing things together.

9 What is something you would really like to do?

Other then experience being watered, I would mostly love being able to travel and meet people.
Sitting in this window is fine, but I would love to explore the world.


10 What place would you like to visit?

Definitely Paris, I heard about it from people talking on the street.
I love sunny weather and busy places, and of course fashion.
So that would be my number one.
